On Saturday night, the Harvard Vestis Council held their annual event "Cocktails and Couture," which is a series of mini fashion shows from student designers at Harvard. The designers were really impressive, especially the gorgeous construction of freshman Meri Burruss' dresses.
My roommate Margaret Wang '09 is the president of the Vestis Council so I'm a bit biased, but it's one of the most elegant student-group put on events at Harvard.
With the excellent food, beautiful models and well-dressed crowd, it definitely took my mind off impending final papers...
Let the photos speak for themselves!

Cute Vestis Board member, Ashley Prince '11. She helped organize the event. Doesn't that American Apparel dress look so great and classy on her?

The guy wearing aviators didn't take them off the whole night.

Taro Kuriyama '09. If you see a slender guy at Lamont with great hair and impeccable styling, it has to be Taro.

The flower-strewn ground. All in all, what a nice event!
